The international Pharmaceutical Group Menarini began its activities in Greece in 1989, by acquiring 70% of DAMVERGIS S.A., a traditional pharmaceutical industry with a presence in Greece since 1935.

In 1996 the Menarini Group acquired 100% of the Share Capital of DAMBERGIS S.A., renaming its Greek affiliate company to Menarini Hellas S.A.
